60,000 thoughts per day and 80% are negative and how to manage it

According to the National Science Foundation, an average person has about 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts per day. Of those, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts. If we repeat those negative thoughts, we think negative way more than we think positive thoughts. Nov 27, 2017

Corporations have realised working from home has increased productivity, minimising conversation and connections with our work colleagues. No more small talk, when a lot of us crave for that connection especially for those who live alone. Thankfully, Australia is slowly opening up their borders and we can only hope this will all soon be behind us, but anxiety and stress can’t be turned off as easily

Eckhart Tolle: "The primary cause of unhappiness is never the situation, but the thoughts about it. Be aware of the thoughts you are thinking”

International Mens Day falls on the 19th of November and after another tough year for all of us we also find men are under much more pressure to provide for their family and be successful in their career. Some equate manhood to their successes when it can equate to anxiety, stress and depression. Men are less likely to seek therapy due to shame or are told to ‘man up’

Today men are struggling just as much as women although they may be different challenges the result of anxiety and stress is not different.

Anxiety, fear, and phobias can be emotionally and socially crippling. Even more worrying is the added risk of chronic stress developing in sufferers who do not receive help and support for their condition.

Once again, hypnotherapy is an ideal technique to fight fears. It has the edge over many other therapies, because the sufferer is always in a deep state of relaxation before the underlying reasons for the anxiety or fear are tackled. While in the state of hypnosis, I will gently guide you through your fears, and provide your subconscious mind with positive strategies and thoughts to help you overcome your problem.

Make the time to make the call, don’t suffer when there could be an easy solution and an easier life ahead of you. A chat over the phone will be private and confidential and the appointment can be face to face or over zoom if you prefer.
